Security Guard

Clouditude Dispensary is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Cannabis Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our staff, patients, and customers. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all cannabis security regulations while providing exceptional service and maintaining a strong visible security presence throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure all areas of the dispensary, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted zones
• Verify customer identification and enforce age verification procedures in compliance with state cannabis laws
• Conduct regular patrols of the property
• Observe and report suspicious activity, security risks, or policy violations
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Maintain accurate incident logs and daily activity reports
• Assist with opening and closing security procedures
• Support inventory protection, and secure product transfers when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor
• Ensure all company policies and cannabis compliance regulations are followed at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or retail security experience preferred
• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus
• Valid security guard license/certification if required by state law
• Strong communication, observation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Basic computer and report-writing skills
• Must be able to pass all required background checks and comply with cannabis industry regulations
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors when needed
