We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and cooperative individual to support our back-of-house operations in a fast-paced, highly regulated retail environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product counts and accurately fulfilling orders sent in by sales.
This is not a customer-facing sales role. Fulfillment Associates work in secure inventory areas and focus on order accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of strict adherence to procedures in a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill customer orders generated through the POS system (By Sales Team or .
- Retrieve products from secure inventory storage according to order tickets and specifications.
- Verify product type, quantity, batch, and labeling prior to packaging.
- Flag and report any discrepancies, shortages, or product issues to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with receiving, intake verification, and proper storage of products.
- Maintain accurate product placement and organization within secure storage areas.
- Support daily inventory maintenance, cycle counts, and audits as assigned.
- Follow all chain-of-custody, tracking, and documentation procedures (including Metrc-related workflows where applicable).
- Ensure products are handled, stored, and transferred in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant fulfillment and storage areas.
- Keep fulfillment stations stocked with necessary packaging and supplies.
- Follow safety, sanitation, and security protocols at all times.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, FOH staff, and delivery teams regarding order readiness and inventory issues.
- Perform other operational tasks as assigned by store leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work accurately under time pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiar with computers, POS systems, and inventory tracking systems.
- Capacity to take feedback and constructive criticism.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
